Frequently Asked questions

How do I know counseling in the answer?

Counseling can provide a variety of benefits for people. The first session can ensure more clarity on how it can be helpful to you.

How long do sessions last and how regularly will we meet?

A session typically lasts 45-50 minutes but a longer session may be arranged. Research shows it is most beneficial for clients to come in on a weekly basis, but often every other week or even twice a week might be more helpful.

How much are your fees?

My fees are $195 for a 45-50 minute individual session and $290 for 75-80 minute sessions. Couples and family sessions are $220. I do provide a sliding scale. Please contact me for information regarding this.

Concierge Service

As a client you are promised to have timely and personalized access to mental health services.  I offer an individualized approach to counseling including emergency sessions, flexibility to meet outside of normal business hours, report writing and consultations with other healthcare professionals for no charge.  Your mental health treatment is prioritized to ensure you get the most effective and researched based care.  For guaranteed weekly or bi-weekly sessions there is a monthly fee. We will further discuss fees and which session plan might be best for you and your family  in your consultation session.

Do you prescribe medicaiton?

As a Ph.D. and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I do not prescribe medication. If you believe you are in need of medication together as a team we can discuss options and I can provide you with names of doctors who may be of help to you.

How do I get to your office?

My office is located on the west side of Balcones drive. A white rock building with a green roof. Unit B, the door on the right. There is a map located on the Contact page.
